Our client seeks an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee their logistics and supply chain operations. This critical role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods from origin to final destination. You will lead a team of logistics professionals, manage warehouse operations, and optimize transportation networks to meet company objectives. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing operational strategies, setting performance targets, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and cost per unit. You will collaborate closely with procurement, sales, and customer service departments to ensure seamless coordination and customer satisfaction. This position requires a deep understanding of supply chain management principles, inventory control, warehouse management systems (WMS), and transportation logistics. You will also be responsible for budget management, resource allocation, and continuous process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a proven ability to manage complex operational challenges. A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in operations management within logistics and supply chain environments. Experience with ERP systems and advanced analytics tools is highly desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for managing diverse teams and stakeholder relationships. This role requires on-site presence to effectively manage operations and team members.
