- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders and project reviews.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution. A Master's degree is a significant advantage.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in mechanical design and product development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or team lead capacity.
- Proven expertise in 3D CAD modeling, drafting, and PDM/PLM systems.
- Strong understanding of Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and other simulation techniques.
- Experience with various manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining, injection molding, 3D printing) and material selection.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

The role of Engineering Technician will involve but is not limited to:
- Supporting Lecturers in various delivery, including Fabrication and Welding, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electrical Installation.
- Preparing materials for practical sessions.
- Ordering of materials and stock monitoring / rotation.
- Checking deliveries and taking responsibility for storing.
- Disposal of waste materials into skips and arranging collection.

Areas of particular interest include
