Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on system design and engineering.
  • Demonstrated expertise in solar PV system design and analysis. Experience with wind energy or hybrid systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard simulation and design software (e.g., PVSyst, AutoCAD, SketchUp).
  • Strong understanding of electrical principles, grid integration, and energy storage technologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective remote collaboration.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure in a remote environment.
  • Knowledge of Kenyan energy regulations and policies is advantageous.
This position is fully remote, supporting projects across Kenya, with a focus on clients and operations relevant to Meru, Meru, KE .
