  • Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and feasibility studies for proposed projects.
  • Oversee the preparation of construction drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for structural engineering tasks.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in structural engineering materials, technologies, and design methodologies.
  • Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and construction teams to address technical queries and resolve issues.
  • Contribute to the development of company-wide engineering standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Civil Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in civil structural engineering design and project management.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex infrastructure projects.
  • Extensive expertise in structural analysis, design, and behavior of various materials (concrete, steel, composite).
  • Proficiency in advanced structural engineering software and CAD tools.
  • Strong understanding of seismic design principles and dynamic analysis.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, essential for managing a remote team.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, make critical decisions, and drive projects forward in a remote setting.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer status is highly desirable.
  • Experience with contract administration and site supervision liaison (though primary role is remote design).
