The team operates within the Hardware Design Group, with two primary missions: to develop and integrate advanced I/O solutions by expertly managing complex IP projects, integrating both proprietary and third-party IPs, and pioneering new I/O technologies; and to implement robust security features across the SoC to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and resilience of hardware systems.

The Role

• By joining this team, you will take ownership of designing, developing, and integrating advanced hardware IPs along with secure SoC features to deliver high-performance, reliable systems.
• Drive the design, development, and integration of advanced I/O solutions and complex IPs, including the integration of third-party IPs.
• Lead the implementation of security features across the SoC to ensure hardware integrity, confidentiality, and robustness.
• Lead the design of some hardware subsystems, including processing units, interconnects, memory, accelerators, and analog components.
• Contribute and participate in all aspects of IP development – including architecture definition, and integration to ensure high compatibility, performance, and security in complex SoC ecosystems.
• Collaborate closely across several teams, such as system, product, architecture, software, digital design and verification team, to ensure the cross-functional and design convergence.
• Evaluate and integrate hard and soft Security and I/O IPs.
• Develop and apply security models, threat analysis, and Trusted Computing Base concepts, such as Root of Trust and secure boot.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry standards, and trends to continuously innovate I/O and security solutions.
• Manage complex dependencies across SoC project milestones, driving issue resolution with cross-team collaboration.
• Define and advance scalable methodologies, tools, and IP building blocks for efficient SoC development.
• Facilitate clear communication, knowledge sharing, and collaboration throughout the full product development lifecycle with a security focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of solid experience in IP/SoC architecture and design and implementation for ASIC or FPGA.

Skills And Knowledge

• In-depth understanding of the Processor Microcontroller Subsystem (PuC SS), including secure boot processes and power management techniques for chiplets (RISC-V core).
• Expertise in High-Speed I/O subsystems, managing interfaces such as UCIe and PCIe for high-bandwidth peripheral connectivity (Ethernet, PCIe, CXL, UCIe, LPDDR).
• Proficiency in Low-Speed I/O subsystem design and integration, managing slower peripheral interfaces (APB Peripherals, I2C, I3C, UART).
• Strong knowledge of Data Management principles, including data organization, buffering, and ensuring data integrity within SoC component (DMA).
• Experience with Network-on-Chip (NoC) architectures, enabling efficient internal communication within SoC components (AMBA, AXI, CHI).
• Comprehensive understanding of hardware Security Features, including implementation of cryptographic modules, isolation, attestation, and trusted computing bases (AES, RSA, PUF, Random number generation, and related security technologies).
• Capability to design and integrate Monitoring & Sensor systems to track chiplet health and operational status.
• Ability to collaborate across design, verification, firmware, and system teams to ensure robust subsystem integration and security.
• Knowledge of industry standards relevant to I/O and hardware security protocols.

IT Pillar Framework
The Technology Division CIO Will Support The Business Across Five Key IT Pillars, Ensuring Strategic Alignment, Operational Excellence, And Value Delivery Across All Areas Of IT Responsibility

Core IT
– Encompasses End User Services and Infrastructure, primarily delivered by Global IT (GITS) and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) under defined SLAs and cost chargeback models, within the European region.

Enterprise Information Services
– Includes enterprise-wide systems such as HRIS, Finance/ERP, and other cross-business platforms. Delivery may vary by geography through divisional or country IT teams.

Technology-Specific Applications
– Covers applications used specifically within the Technology Division, including Field Service & Project Scheduling ("Tech Platform"), CPQ, Product Design & Development, and Manufacturing systems, focused on European operations.

SOC IT
– Focused on harmonisation, modernisation, and architectural alignment of SOC-related IT platforms, driving efficiency and standardisation across European SOC operations.

M&A and Transformation
– Encompasses IT due diligence, integration planning, and post-deal closure transformation to ensure seamless business continuity and value realisation in the European context. Project Aurora, ERP Implementations and broader IT transformation are top priorities, including separation of shared systems and building new teams in key European countries.

Scope of Responsibility
Leadership & Culture
Serve as the IT leader for the Technology Division in Europe, reporting to the Division President (solid line) and Technology Global CIO (dotted line).

• Lead divisional and country IT teams across Europe, fostering a "One Securitas" culture of professionalism, accountability, and innovation.
• Develop IT talent and build technical competencies across the European organisation.
• Partner with senior stakeholders, steering committees, and executives to align IT with business priorities in Europe.
• Navigate and influence within a matrix environment, collaborating across business units and IT organisations.

Core IT & Enterprise Systems

• Oversee delivery of End User Services and Infrastructure, managed by Global IT (GITS) and MSPs under defined SLAs and cost chargeback models, within Europe.
• Provide Technology Division insight and requirements into enterprise platforms (HRIS, ERP, Finance, and other cross-business systems), whether delivered by divisional or country IT in Europe.
• Ensure alignment and interoperability between divisional systems and Group IT standards in the European context.

Technology-Specific Applications

• Own and oversee critical Technology Division applications for Europe, including:
• Field Service & Project Delivery platforms ("Tech Platform")

SOC IT

• Lead harmonisation, modernisation, and architectural standardisation of IT platforms supporting SOCs.
• Collaborate with SOC Centres of Excellence and Services to standardise operations, align to global KPIs, and drive efficiency.
• Define and support Technology specific services and systems supported by the European SOCs to ensure efficient delivery of Technology services to our clients.
• Contribute to the roadmap for a Global SOC (GSOC) platform supporting multinational client needs.

M&A and Transformation

• Act as IT lead for Technology Division M&A activity in Europe, including due diligence and post-deal closure integration/separation activities.
• Govern IT projects to ensure value realisation after go-live, with clear alignment to business outcomes in Europe.
• Align divisional IT strategy and roadmap with both Technology Global IT and Group IT, with a focus on European priorities.

Financial & Vendor Management

• Manage the Technology Division IT budget and financial chargeback models.
• Own divisional IT vendor relationships and AMS contracts, ensuring cost efficiency and service quality.
• Drive commercial accountability across IT initiatives.

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven track record as a senior IT leader (CIO, Divisional CIO, or equivalent) in matrixed organisations, ideally with European scope.
• Deep experience across IT domains: infrastructure, enterprise systems, and business-specific applications.
• Strong capability in vendor management, outsourcing, and AMS contracts.
• Demonstrated success in IT transformation, modernisation, and digital initiatives.
• Commercially astute with experience managing large budgets and cost optimisation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills at C-suite level.
• Ability to lead multicultural, dispersed teams while driving cultural alignment.
