Job Role
The Information Communications Technology Analyst is typically an entry level position designed to build expertise in a broad range of ICT occupations. The incumbent works under the overall strategic, policy and management guidance of the Director of the Information Communications Technology Division (ICT) and the direct supervision of an ICT manager or specialist. The Analyst performs routine and non-routine work with established precedents independently; complex, precedent setting recommendations are developed in consultation with the supervisor or other subject matter expert.
The ICT Analyst (Data & People Analytics) is responsible for the secure collection, processing and analysis of data, including corporate and people data. The Analyst will manage the evolving data sets and ensure that appropriate measures are taken to ensure that access control measures are in place and maintained and that the data is effectively modelled to support the required analytics. The Analyst will provide data insights, workforce analytics, and business intelligence tools to support evidence-based decision making across data-centric and people-related processes (in particular workforce planning, recruitment, reassignment and staffing demographics). The incumbent will also be responsible for providing accurate reporting and analysis on data-centric information for clients, including HR data, triangulating structured and unstructured data from different sources.
