Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Senior Scientific Researcher specializing in Molecular Biology to contribute to groundbreaking research and development initiatives. This fully remote position requires a deep understanding of molecular mechanisms, experimental design, and data analysis within the life sciences. The ideal candidate will lead research projects, mentor junior scientists, and drive innovation in areas such as genetics, cellular biology, or molecular diagnostics. You will be responsible for designing and executing complex experiments, interpreting results, and contributing to scientific publications and patents. This role demands exceptional scientific rigor, strong analytical abilities, and effective communication skills for a virtual research environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage independent research projects in molecular biology.
  • Design, conduct, and troubleshoot complex experiments using molecular biology techniques.
  • Analyze and interpret experimental data, identifying key findings and trends.
  • Develop and validate novel molecular assays and protocols.
  • Contribute to the understanding of disease mechanisms at the molecular level.
  • Write and publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Present research results at scientific conferences and internal meetings.

Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Cell Biology, or a related life science discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral research experience, with a strong publication record.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with a wide range of molecular biology techniques (e.g., PCR, qPCR, Western Blotting, cloning, gene editing).
  • Proficiency in bioinformatics tools and databases is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of experimental design and statistical analysis.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex scientific data clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead research teams in a remote setting.
