  • Evaluate and integrate new technologies and software tools into existing workflows.
Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genetics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of post-doctoral research experience in bioinformatics and genomics.
  • Demonstrated expertise in programming languages such as Python, R, Perl, or C++.
  • Extensive experience with bioinformatics tools and databases (e.g., NCBI, Ensembl, IGV).
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods and machine learning techniques applied to biological data.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and high-performance computing clusters.
  • Excellent publication record in high-impact scientific journals.
  • Proven ability to lead research projects and mentor junior scientists.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, essential for effective remote collaboration.
  • Familiarity with various sequencing technologies and their data formats.
