You will be responsible for analyzing existing industrial processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing and implementing innovative solutions to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality. This includes conducting detailed process modeling, simulation, and feasibility studies. The Principal Industrial Process Engineer will play a key role in designing new process flows, selecting appropriate technologies, and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. This remote position demands a strong analytical mindset, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies. You will be expected to lead cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and present findings and recommendations to senior management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration in a virtual environment. A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required. A Master's degree or Ph.D. is highly preferred. A minimum of 10-12 years of progressive experience in industrial process engineering, with a proven track record of successfully optimizing complex manufacturing and production processes, is essential.
