Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze geological data from various sources, including core samples, geophysical surveys, and remote sensing.
- Interpret subsurface geological structures, stratigraphy, and mineralization.
- Develop and maintain geological models using specialized software (e.g., Leapfrog, Vulcan, ArcGIS).
- Prepare detailed geological reports, including resource estimates and exploration recommendations.
- Collaborate with exploration teams to plan and interpret results from field activities.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of geological data management systems.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in geological exploration techniques and software.
- Provide geological expertise and support for mine planning and development.
- Conduct literature reviews and summarize existing geological information for new project areas.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field. A Master's degree with a specialization in mining geology or exploration is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in geological exploration or mining operations.
- Proven expertise in geological data analysis, interpretation, and modeling.
- Proficiency with geological modeling software such as Leapfrog Geo, Vulcan, Micromine, or similar.
- Strong understanding of mineral deposit types and exploration techniques relevant to (Specific Commodities, e.g., gold, copper, rare earth elements).
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS) and database management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to undertake occasional travel for site visits or specific project needs.

- 7+ years of experience in geological exploration, with a significant focus on applying remote sensing and GIS techniques.
- Proven expertise in processing and interpreting various types of satellite and aerial imagery (e.g., Landsat, Sentinel, ASTER, hyperspectral data).
- Proficiency in industry-standard GIS and remote sensing software packages.
- Strong understanding of geological principles, structural geology, and mineral deposit environments.
- Experience with data analysis and modeling techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise technical reports.
