Our client, a leading industrial manufacturing group, is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Principal Industrial Process Engineer to join their fully remote engineering division. This pivotal role focuses on the design, optimization, and implementation of complex manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety across our global operations. You will leverage your deep expertise in industrial engineering principles, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, and advanced process simulation tools to drive significant improvements. As a remote Principal Engineer, you will collaborate closely with plant managers, production teams, and R&D departments worldwide, utilizing sophisticated virtual collaboration platforms. Your responsibilities will include analyzing existing production lines, identifying bottlenecks, and developing innovative solutions for process enhancement. You will lead cross-functional teams on major engineering projects, from conceptualization through to successful implementation and validation. Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and optimization of industrial manufacturing processes.
  • Analyze production data to identify areas for efficiency and quality improvement.
  • Develop and implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives.
  • Oversee the implementation of new process technologies and automation solutions.
  • Conduct process simulations and feasibility studies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless process integration.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, standards, and best practices.
  • Mentor and guide junior process engineers.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in industrial process engineering.
  • Proven expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), and process optimization.
  • Experience with process simulation software and data analysis tools.
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of leading complex engineering projects.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
