Purpose of the Position
The Business Development unit at eHealth Africa (eHA) is dedicated to driving the organization's growth and long-term sustainability by strategically identifying and securing funding opportunities, fostering meaningful partnerships, and implementing innovative solutions that align with eHA's mission. Through proactive engagement and strategic positioning, the Business Development unit enhances eHA's capacity to deliver impactful health and development solutions, expanding its reach and amplifying its contributions to the communities it serves.

eHealth Africa is seeking highly skilled
Subject-Matter Experts (SMEs) across nine (9)
key thematic areas to support our proposal development and business development efforts. Our aim is to strengthen the quality and competitiveness of our proposals, enhance win rates for high-value bids, and ensure technical excellence across multiple domains.

Objectives of the Assignment
The SMEs will provide technical expertise and strategic inputs to:

• Strengthen the technical quality of proposals and concept notes.
• Enhance the competitiveness and win potential of bids.
• Contribute specialized knowledge to align proposals with donor priorities and global best practices.
• Support the integration of innovative, data-driven, and equity-focused approaches.

• Master's Degree or PhD in relevant field
• 5 –10 years experience in the subject field or related area.
• Experience working in the INGO space
• Proposal and bid development experience
• Industry-recognized certifications relevant to the specialty
• Publications, speaking engagements, or contributions to industry bodies

• Master's degree or PhD in a relevant academic discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Humanities).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching, curriculum development, or subject matter expertise in higher education or professional training.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering online courses.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and online instructional design methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engagingly.
• Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) such as Moodle, Canvas, or Blackboard.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote setting.

• Conduct comprehensive remote developmental assessments for children across various age groups.
• Develop individualized developmental support plans and intervention strategies.
• Provide expert consultation and guidance to parents, caregivers, and educators regarding child development and behavior.
• Deliver virtual training and workshops on topics related to pediatric development, learning challenges, and early intervention.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care and support for children.
• Stay current with research and best practices in pediatric development, psychology, and related fields.

• Lead virtual team meetings and contribute to the strategic direction of the pediatric development services.

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Pediatric Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience working directly with children in a pediatric development or early intervention setting.

• Proven experience in providing consultation and training to diverse groups.
• Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
