Job Description
As the Lead Reservoir Engineer, your responsibilities will include performing detailed reservoir characterization, estimating hydrocarbon reserves, and developing depletion plans to maximize economic recovery. You will utilize advanced reservoir simulation software to model fluid flow, predict reservoir performance, and assess the impact of various recovery methods. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret complex geological and engineering data. You will collaborate closely with geoscientists, production engineers, and drilling engineers to ensure integrated project execution.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively present technical findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders. Experience with unconventional reservoirs, enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques, and economic evaluation of oil and gas assets is highly desirable. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can manage projects independently and drive results in a fast-paced, remote environment. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying and unlocking new resource opportunities and maximizing the value of existing assets. The ability to work autonomously and contribute to strategic decision-making is paramount.
