- Mentor and guide junior geologists and field technicians.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in exploration techniques and geological science.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Geology, Economic Geology, or a related Earth Science discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in mineral exploration, with a focus on geological interpretation and target generation.
- Proven track record of successful discovery or significant contribution to exploration projects.
- Extensive experience with geological modeling software and GIS platforms.
- Strong understanding of structural geology, stratigraphy, and mineral deposit genesis.
- Proficiency in interpreting geophysical and geochemical datasets.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex geological concepts clearly.
- Experience working remotely and managing distributed exploration teams is highly beneficial.

Job Description
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in economic geology, structural geology, geostatistics, and mineral exploration techniques. Responsibilities include planning and executing exploration fieldwork (where applicable and remote coordination is possible), analyzing geological, geochemical, and geophysical data, and developing geological models. You will be responsible for estimating mineral resources, assessing project viability, and preparing comprehensive geological reports.
This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere, contributing to projects through advanced data analysis, remote sensing interpretation, and virtual collaboration with geoscientists, engineers, and project managers. Experience with geological modeling software (e.g., Leapfrog, Vulcan, Datamine) and GIS software is essential. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in statistical analysis, and excellent report-writing capabilities are required.
We are looking for a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of geological processes and mineral systems. Your ability to identify prospective exploration targets, manage geological data, and communicate technical findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be vital. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to significant resource exploration projects, leverage advanced technologies, and advance your career in a challenging and rewarding remote work environment.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Geology, Economic Geology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in mineral exploration geology.
- Proven expertise in resource estimation and geological modeling.
- Proficiency with geological modeling software (e.g., Leapfrog, Vulcan) and GIS.
- Strong understanding of structural geology and mineral systems.
- Experience with geochemical and geophysical data interpretation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead geological interpretations in a remote setting.
