Our client, a reputable manufacturing firm, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their innovative and fully remote team. This pivotal role will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the highest quality of products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field, with extensive experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen. You will lead cross-functional teams to analyze current manufacturing operations, identify bottlenecks, and implement sustainable solutions. This position requires exceptional problem-solving skills, strong analytical abilities, and a proven track record of successfully leading process improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and product quality.
  • Develop and execute strategies for process optimization, cost reduction, and waste elimination.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality control teams to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for enhancement.
  • Design and implement new manufacturing equipment and technologies, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and pilot tests for new process developments.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and production staff on process improvements and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Manage process-related projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Evaluate and recommend new manufacturing technologies and automation solutions.
