Our client, a leading financial institution, is looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Quantitative Analyst to join their esteemed team in Kitale, Trans-Nzoia, KE . This critical role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining sophisticated financial models to support trading strategies, risk management, and product development. The ideal candidate will possess a strong quantitative background, exceptional mathematical acumen, and a deep understanding of financial markets and instruments. Responsibilities include designing complex pricing and risk models for derivatives and other financial products, performing statistical analysis on large datasets, back-testing model performance, and validating model outputs. - Strong programming skills in Python, R, C++, or MATLAB.
- Familiarity with financial markets, derivatives, and fixed income instruments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and statistical modeling skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to explain complex quantitative concepts to diverse audiences.
