Role Overview
The Audio- Visual Engineer will be responsible for managing all aspects of sound during worship services and events at Redeemed Christian Church of God, Solution Centre Nairobi. This role ensures the highest quality audio experience for both in-person attendees and those participating through live streams. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technical excellence and a commitment to supporting the worship environment.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, test, and operate all audio equipment for worship services, events, and special functions to ensure high-quality sound for speech, music, and multimedia presentations.
Mix audio during live worship services to ensure clarity and balance for musicians, vocalists, and speakers.
Monitor and adjust sound levels in real time to address dynamic needs during services.
Collaborate with the Media team to provide seamless live streaming on YouTube, Facebook, and Zoom using advanced techniques.
Regularly inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot audio equipment to ensure systems are fully operational and prevent service disruptions.
Manage and organize the Cathedral's multimedia inventory, ensuring all audio-visual equipment is in good condition.
Work closely with the worship team, musicians, and technical staff to ensure a smooth worship experience for both in-person and online participants.
