You will work closely with farmers, researchers, and product development teams, utilizing advanced communication and data analysis tools to provide expert guidance and drive impactful solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement integrated pest management (IPM) programs for a variety of crops.
  • Conduct research on the biology, ecology, and management of agricultural pests and diseases.
  • Evaluate the efficacy of new pesticides, biopesticides, and other crop protection agents.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to farmers and agricultural professionals on crop protection strategies.
  • Monitor pest and disease outbreaks and advise on timely interventions.
  • Analyze field trial data and generate reports on product performance.
  • Collaborate with regulatory affairs teams to ensure compliance with pesticide regulations.
  • Stay updated on the latest scientific research, technologies, and industry trends in crop protection.
  • Contribute to the development of educational materials and training programs for farmers.
  • Work remotely with a global team of scientists, agronomists, and product developers.
  • Utilize digital platforms for data collection, analysis, and communication.
  • Assess the environmental impact of crop protection measures and promote sustainable alternatives.
  • Identify new research opportunities and contribute to proposal development.
  • Assist in the registration and market introduction of new crop protection products.
  • Troubleshoot complex crop health issues encountered by growers.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Entomology, Plant Pathology, Weed Science, or a related agricultural discipline.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in crop protection, with a strong focus on research and practical application.
  • Proven expertise in pest, disease, and weed identification and management strategies.
  • Experience with experimental design and statistical analysis of field trial data.
  • Excellent understanding of pesticide mode of actions and resistance management principles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting complex information.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, international environment.
  • Proficiency with data management and analysis software.
  • Knowledge of geographical information systems (GIS) and remote sensing for agricultural applications is a plus.
  • Commitment to sustainable and environmentally sound agricultural practices.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for field visits and conferences, if required.
