UI/UX Designer
to join our team on a
fixed-term, project-based engagement

You'll take the lead in driving projects from concept to completion starting with client briefs all the way to final delivery. What are you expected to do?
Working autonomously or in collaboration with the Head of UX & Design:

  • Ability to take a brief from client and take them through:

○ User flows

○ Wireframing

○ Design

  • Dissect client briefs to work out requirements and spec out design solutions for developers to implement.
  • Lead the creation of wireframes, low and high fidelity desktop and mobile prototypes for a variety of clients.
  • Ability to have educated UX discussions with clients and stakeholders, justify and articulate design decisions.clients and stakeholders.

The Whole Process Takes Around 4 Weeks

  • There will be 3-4 interviews and a possible assessment from our client partner. You will undergo an initial interview, a culture interview, and 1-2 interviews with our cool client. This will run for about 1-2 weeks but we will let you know if we need to ramp it up. Be yourself and have fun.

  • Translate complex user requirements into intuitive and engaging user experiences.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX design trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Present design concepts and rationale to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Optimize user journeys to improve conversion rates and user satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the overall product strategy and vision through a design lens.
  • Ensure designs are accessible and comply with relevant standards.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your design process and accomplishments.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility.
  • Experience conducting user research and translating findings into design decisions.
  • Excellent visual design skills with a strong sense of typography, color, and layout.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus, enabling better collaboration with developers.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
  • Experience working in an Agile development process is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
