  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and mechanical engineers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during design, integration, and testing phases.
  • Support flight test activities and analyze flight data.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of avionics engineering processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Ph.D. preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in aerospace systems engineering, with a strong focus on avionics.
  • In-depth knowledge of aircraft navigation systems (GPS, INS), communication systems (radios, datalinks), and flight control systems (autopilots, fly-by-wire).
  • Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded software development in an aerospace context.
  • Proficiency in simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) and systems engineering software (e.g., DOORS, Cameo).
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering V-model and related lifecycle processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Eligibility for security clearances may be required for certain projects.
