As a Senior Agronomist, you will conduct field research, analyze data, and develop tailored recommendations for farmers and agricultural organizations. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice on crop production, soil science, and plant nutrition for optimal yield and quality.
  • Develop and implement strategies for sustainable and organic farming practices.
  • Conduct field assessments, soil testing, and data analysis to inform agronomic recommendations.
  • Advise on integrated pest management (IPM) and disease control strategies to minimize environmental impact.

  • Collaborate with farmers, researchers, and agricultural extension services to share knowledge and best practices.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Agronomy, Soil Science, Plant Science, Agriculture, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in agronomy, with a specialization in sustainable agriculture.
  • Demonstrated expertise in crop physiology, soil fertility, pest management, and sustainable farming systems.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Proficiency in agricultural software and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and effectively.
  • Experience in project management and working with diverse agricultural stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment, including willingness for occasional site visits.
