Our client is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Optimization Manager to spearhead advancements in their e-commerce logistics operations. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to manage complex supply chains from your home office. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve delivery performance across the entire supply chain network.

- Analyze existing supply chain processes, identify bottlenecks, and develop data-driven strategies for improvement in areas such as inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and last-mile delivery.
- Design and implement optimized logistics networks, including warehouse location strategies, transportation routing, and cross-docking operations.
- Utilize supply chain planning and optimization software to model different scenarios and forecast demand.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, procurement, sales) and external partners (3PL providers, carriers) to ensure seamless execution of logistics strategies.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost, speed, reliability, and customer satisfaction within the supply chain.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with logistics providers to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met and costs are controlled.
- Implement and oversee inventory management best practices to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in supply chain management and e-commerce logistics, such as automation, AI, and route optimization software.
- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain analysts and coordinators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies for the supply chain to mitigate disruptions.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on supply chain performance and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain management, with a strong focus on e-commerce logistics and optimization.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing cost-saving and efficiency-enhancing initiatives.
- Expertise in supply chain planning, transportation management, and warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan Associates) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage complex projects in a remote environment.
- Experience with data visualization tools and business intelligence platforms.
- Knowledge of international logistics and customs procedures is a plus.
