- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments impacting the P&C sector.
- Conduct portfolio reviews and profitability analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the claims department on complex case management and loss prevention strategies.
- Contribute to the development and training of junior underwriters.
- Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Property & Casualty underwriting.
- Proven track record of successful risk assessment and profitable underwriting results.
- Strong analytical, financial, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent understanding of insurance contracts, policy wording, and legal aspects.
- Proficiency in underwriting software and MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Professional certifications (e.g., ACII, AU) are a significant advantage.

- Strong understanding of risk management principles and insurance market dynamics.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional designations such as CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) are highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently, manage a substantial workload, and meet strict deadlines in a remote environment.
