Our client is looking for an accomplished Senior Supply Chain Manager with extensive experience in global procurement to lead their strategic sourcing and supply chain operations. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from any approved location. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive procurement strategies, optimizing supplier relationships, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods and services across the organization's international network. The role requires a deep understanding of global trade dynamics, risk management, and cost optimization.
Your responsibilities will include identifying and qualifying new suppliers globally, negotiating favorable terms and contracts, and managing supplier performance to ensure quality, delivery, and cost targets are met. You will play a critical role in developing robust supply chain resilience strategies, mitigating risks associated with geopolitical factors, natural disasters, and economic volatility. Furthermore, you will lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency, implement best practices in inventory management, and leverage technology to enhance supply chain visibility and performance. This role demands strong leadership capabilities, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to foster collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners. You will oversee a complex network of suppliers and logistics providers, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical standards. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred. A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain management and global procurement is required. Proven experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management is essential. Demonstrated success in driving cost reductions and improving supply chain efficiency is a must. Excellent understanding of international trade regulations, logistics, and customs procedures is necessary. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are vital for managing diverse teams and stakeholders. Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems is expected.
