Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive revenue management strategies to maximize room revenue and overall profitability.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis, competitor research, and demand forecasting.
- Set optimal pricing strategies across all distribution channels, including OTAs, direct bookings, and wholesale.
- Manage room inventory to ensure optimal availability and pricing.
- Monitor booking pace, identify trends, and make proactive adjustments to pricing and strategy.
- Collaborate closely with on-site General Managers, Sales, and Marketing teams to align strategies.
- Generate detailed revenue performance reports and present actionable insights to leadership.
- Implement and refine yield management techniques to control inventory and pricing.
- Oversee the annual budget process for revenue management.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and market shifts.
- Foster a data-driven decision-making culture within the revenue management function.
- Utilize revenue management systems and tools effectively.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior revenue management professionals in a remote setting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in revenue management within the luxury hotel or resort sector.
- Proven track record of successfully increasing RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room) and ADR.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis and forecasting.
- Expertise in using revenue management software and systems (e.g., Duetto, IDeaS, Opera).
- Excellent understanding of distribution channels, online travel agencies (OTAs), and global distribution systems (GDS).
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead a remote team effectively.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences through strategic revenue optimization.
