The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in revenue management, preferably within a multi-property hotel environment. A proven track record of successfully implementing revenue management strategies that have led to significant increases in occupancy, ADR (Average Daily Rate), and RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room) is essential. You must have a deep understanding of hotel operations, market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and yield management principles. Proficiency with industry-standard revenue management systems (e.g., IDeaS, Duetto) and property management systems (PMS) is required. Excellent analytical, forecasting, and strategic thinking skills are paramount. This remote role necessitates strong communication and leadership abilities, as you will collaborate closely with General Managers, Sales & Marketing teams, and corporate leadership through virtual platforms.

Key responsibilities include conducting daily, weekly, and monthly revenue analyses, developing accurate demand forecasts, and making data-driven pricing recommendations. You will also be responsible for managing inventory controls, optimizing online distribution channels, and identifying new revenue opportunities. The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities effectively, and adapt to rapidly changing market conditions is crucial for success in this fully remote position. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, advanced analytical skills, and a proven ability to develop and implement effective revenue management strategies. You will be responsible for maximizing revenue through strategic pricing, inventory management, and market analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive revenue management strategies to optimize occupancy, rates, and overall revenue.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and demand forecasts to set optimal pricing strategies.
  • Manage inventory controls across all distribution channels, ensuring maximum availability and yield.
  • Implement dynamic pricing strategies based on market conditions, seasonality, and events.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue, occupancy, and average daily rate (ADR).
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align revenue strategies with business objectives.
  • Utilize revenue management systems (RMS) and other analytical tools to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Conduct regular market intelligence gathering and competitive analysis.
  • Develop and implement promotional strategies and packages to drive demand during off-peak periods.
  • Forecast future demand and revenue performance accurately.
  • Train and mentor hotel teams on revenue management principles and best practices.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership regarding pricing, inventory, and market positioning.
  • Ensure effective channel management, optimizing performance across OTAs, direct bookings, and GDS.
  • Manage the budget for the revenue management department.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in hospitality revenue management.
  • Proactively identify and address any revenue leakage or missed opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in revenue management within the hospitality sector, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully increasing revenue and profitability in hotel operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of revenue management principles, systems (e.g., Opera, IDeaS), and distribution channels.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fully remote environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
