Our client is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Remote Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to drive efficiency and effectiveness across our global logistics and warehousing operations. This is a fully remote position, offering unparalleled flexibility. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of supply chain management principles, advanced analytical skills, and a proven track record of implementing successful optimization strategies. You will be responsible for analyzing complex supply chain data, identifying bottlenecks, and designing innovative solutions to streamline inventory management, transportation, and warehousing processes.

- Design and refine warehouse layouts and processes to maximize efficiency, throughput, and space utilization.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to transportation networks, routes, and carriers to minimize costs and transit times.
- Utilize advanced data analytics and modeling techniques to forecast demand, assess risk, and identify potential disruptions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, sales, and IT, to ensure seamless supply chain integration.
- Implement and manage supply chain technologies, such as WMS, TMS, and ERP systems, to enhance visibility and control.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of supply chain initiatives.
- Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and innovative approaches in supply chain management.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management on supply chain performance and improvement opportunities.
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and other supply chain partners.
- Manage and mentor junior supply chain analysts and specialists in a remote environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations, with a focus on optimization and analysis.
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, warehousing operations, and transportation logistics.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and forecasting techniques.
- Experience with supply chain software (WMS, TMS, ERP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive change in a decentralized organization.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, essential for remote collaboration.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage workload effectively in a remote setting.
