Our client is seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Senior Project Manager to lead critical supply chain optimization initiatives. This is a fully remote, strategic role that will play a pivotal part in enhancing operational efficiency and driving cost savings across our global network. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of complex projects, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, control, and closure. This includes defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders, developing detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, and securing and managing project resources.
Key responsibilities include identifying and managing project risks and issues, implementing effective mitigation strategies, and ensuring clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders. You will be expected to foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment, leveraging virtual collaboration tools to their fullest potential. This role requires a deep understanding of supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory management, coupled with robust project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget, demonstrating strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, risk logs, and post-project reviews. The ability to influence and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, and IT, is essential. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a significant focus on supply chain and logistics projects.
- Proven experience in managing remote teams and distributed projects.
- Strong understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira).
