Our client, a dynamic and growing organization, is seeking a seasoned Senior Procurement Specialist & Supply Chain Analyst to join their fully remote procurement team. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven ability to manage complex procurement processes, optimize supplier relationships, and enhance supply chain efficiency. You will be instrumental in sourcing high-quality goods and services, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring the integrity and resilience of the supply chain.
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of procurement principles, contract law, and supply chain management. You should have exceptional negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems is highly desirable. This is a fully remote position, requiring excellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. While the company has a presence in Ongata Rongai, Kajiado, KE , this role offers full remote flexibility. A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, coupled with a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, is required.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to identify and onboard new suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and ethical standards.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to understand supplier capabilities, pricing trends, and potential risks.
- Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and service level agreements.
- Manage existing supplier relationships, conducting regular performance reviews and fostering collaborative partnerships.

Qualifications:
