Our client is seeking a creative and experienced Senior Pastry Chef & Menu Developer to elevate their culinary offerings. This hybrid role requires a blend of on-site presence for hands-on preparation and off-site work for menu innovation and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting exquisite desserts and baked goods, coupled with a knack for developing innovative and appealing menus. You will be instrumental in shaping the dessert and bakery experience, ensuring exceptional quality and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, prepare, and execute a wide range of high-quality pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked goods.
  • Develop new and exciting dessert menus, seasonal specials, and unique creations.
  • Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all pastry items.
  • Manage inventory, ordering of ingredients, and maintaining cost controls for the pastry department.
  • Supervise and train junior pastry staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient kitchen environment.
  • Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the head chef and management team on menu planning and special events.
  • Adapt recipes and techniques to suit local ingredients and market trends.
  • Conduct taste tests and gather feedback to refine recipes and menu offerings.
  • Contribute creative ideas for restaurant ambiance and dining experience related to dessert offerings.

Qualifications:
