Our client is seeking a highly experienced and innovative Senior Industrial Process Engineer to lead process optimization initiatives. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to apply your expertise to enhance manufacturing and operational efficiency from anywhere. You will be responsible for analyzing existing industrial processes, identifying bottlenecks, and designing and implementing solutions to improve productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Your work will involve applying principles of industrial engineering, operations research, and lean manufacturing to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and enhance overall system performance. A key aspect of your role will be to develop and utilize process simulation models, data analysis techniques, and statistical methods to evaluate performance and propose improvements. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, quality control, and management, to ensure the successful implementation of process changes. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree or Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in industrial process optimization, manufacturing operations, or related roles. Proven experience in developing and implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is essential. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills are paramount, along with a deep understanding of process mapping, simulation, and statistical analysis. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required to effectively communicate complex technical information and influence stakeholders. Proficiency with process simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim) and data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, R, Python) is highly desirable. The ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and drive change in a remote setting is crucial.
