- Manage the performance appraisal process, providing guidance to managers and employees.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, resolving issues effectively and confidentially.
- Lead recruitment efforts, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates for various positions.
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations.
- Develop and deliver HR training programs on topics such as performance management, diversity and inclusion, and HR policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records using the HR Information System (HRIS).
- Contribute to the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives.
- Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and inform strategic HR decisions.
- Support organizational change initiatives and assist in change management processes.
- Collaborate with senior management on workforce planning and talent management strategies.
- Stay current with HR best practices and emerging trends.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a strong background as an HR Generalist.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws in Kenya.
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, and performance management.
- Proficiency with HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote setting.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., CHRP) is highly desirable.
