Our client, a leading force in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is seeking an innovative and strategic Senior FMCG Product Innovation Manager to join their fully remote global team. This role is pivotal in driving the development of new products and enhancing existing ones to meet evolving consumer needs and market trends. You will lead the entire product innovation lifecycle, from ideation and concept development through to market launch and post-launch analysis. This requires a deep understanding of consumer insights, market dynamics, and the FMCG landscape.

- Lead the ideation, concept development, and business case creation for new FMCG products and product line extensions.
- Conduct thorough market research, consumer trend analysis, and competitive intelligence to identify innovation opportunities.
- Translate consumer insights and market data into compelling product concepts and specifications.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, marketing, sales, supply chain, and regulatory affairs teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
- Manage the product development process, including prototype development, consumer testing, and product validation.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning, and promotional plans.
- Monitor product performance in the market, analyze sales data, and identify opportunities for improvement or line extensions.
- Stay abreast of industry innovations, emerging technologies, and best practices in product development and consumer marketing.
- Manage budgets and resources allocated to product innovation projects.
- Present new product proposals and progress updates to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Food Science, or a related field. An MBA is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in product management, brand management, or product development within the FMCG industry.
- Proven track record of successfully launching innovative FMCG products.
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior, market segmentation, and competitive analysis.
- Experience with stage-gate product development processes and innovation methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills, adapted for a remote work setting.
- Proficiency in market research tools and data analysis software.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative mindset with a passion for consumer products.
