We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Early Childhood Development Specialist to join our dynamic, remote-first team. This pivotal role will focus on developing and implementing innovative early childhood education programs, ensuring they meet the highest standards of care and developmental progression for young children. You will be instrumental in shaping curriculum frameworks, training and mentoring childcare providers virtually, and conducting rigorous program evaluations from the comfort of your home office, serving families and institutions in **Mombasa, Mombasa, KE**.

- Designing and overseeing the implementation of evidence-based early childhood curriculum tailored to diverse developmental needs.
- Developing comprehensive training modules and resources for remote delivery to childcare staff, fostering continuous professional development.
- Providing virtual coaching, supervision, and support to childcare providers to enhance program quality and effectiveness.
- Conducting remote assessments and evaluations of program outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
- Collaborating with stakeholders, including parents, educators, and community partners, through virtual platforms to promote child development initiatives.
- Staying abreast of the latest research and best practices in early childhood education and development, and integrating them into program design.
- Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources for various early childhood initiatives.
- Contributing to the development of proposals and reports for funding and grant applications.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant educational standards and regulations, adapted for a remote operational model.
- Leading virtual team meetings and fostering a collaborative and supportive remote work environment.
- Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in early childhood program development, implementation, and management.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering virtual training and professional development programs.
- Strong understanding of child development theories, pedagogy, and assessment methods.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences remotely.
- Proficiency in using virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
- Experience in program evaluation and data analysis.
- A passion for improving the lives of young children and their families through quality education and care.
- Familiarity with the Kenyan educational context is a plus.
