Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Community Outreach Coordinator to lead their public health initiatives. This role operates on a fully remote basis, allowing you to connect with and empower communities across diverse geographical areas. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing outreach programs designed to improve health outcomes, increase awareness of vital health services, and foster strong community partnerships. Your expertise in community engagement and public health will be crucial in driving positive change.

- Advocate for community needs and represent the organization at relevant forums and meetings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive program delivery and resource allocation.
- Stay informed about current public health trends, best practices, and funding opportunities.
- Manage outreach program budgets and resources effectively.
- Utilize digital platforms and tools to enhance remote engagement and communication with communities and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Social Work, Community Development, Sociology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in community outreach, engagement, or public health program management.
- Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing community-based initiatives.
- Strong understanding of public health principles, social determinants of health, and health equity.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse populations.
- Experience in volunteer management and team leadership, particularly in a remote context.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for communication, data collection, and project management.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing circumstances in a remote environment.
- Cultural sensitivity and a commitment to serving underserved communities.
- Grant writing or fundraising experience is an asset.
