Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Commercial Property Acquisition Specialist to lead their remote acquisition efforts in the vibrant coastal region. This position is fully remote, allowing you to leverage your expertise from anywhere in Kenya. You will be instrumental in identifying, evaluating, and securing prime commercial real estate opportunities that align with our company's aggressive growth strategy. This role demands a sharp business acumen, an in-depth understanding of the Malindi property market, and the ability to negotiate complex deals effectively. Your primary focus will be on expanding our commercial portfolio through strategic acquisitions, ensuring optimal return on investment.

- Identify and evaluate potential commercial real estate acquisition opportunities in Malindi and surrounding areas.
- Conduct thorough market research, including property valuations, feasibility studies, and due diligence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, brokers, developers, and other key stakeholders.
- Negotiate purchase agreements, leases, and other real estate contracts.
- Analyze financial statements, legal documents, and zoning regulations.
- Prepare detailed investment proposals and present them to senior management.
- Manage the acquisition process from initial contact through to closing.
- Stay informed about market trends, economic conditions, and legislative changes affecting the real estate sector.
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure smooth transaction processes.
- Develop and execute strategies to optimize property acquisition pipelines.
- Assess risks and opportunities associated with potential acquisitions.
- Utilize CRM and other tools to track leads and manage deal pipelines effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial real estate acquisition, investment, or brokerage.
- Demonstrated success in identifying and closing significant real estate deals.
- In-depth knowledge of the Malindi and Kenyan coastal real estate market.
- Strong financial analysis and valuation skills.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in real estate software and financial modeling tools.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote setting.
- Understanding of property law, contracts, and due diligence processes.
- Proven ability to build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts.
- Must be results-oriented with a track record of meeting acquisition targets.
