Our client, a reputable civil engineering firm specializing in large-scale infrastructure projects, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer with strong project management capabilities to join their team. This role will primarily focus on overseeing the planning, design, and execution of complex civil engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. While the core project management and design aspects can be conducted remotely, occasional on-site visits to project locations and client meetings will be required, making this a hybrid position. You will be responsible for leading engineering teams, coordinating with stakeholders, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and codes. The ideal candidate will possess a deep technical expertise in civil engineering disciplines, coupled with exceptional leadership and organizational skills. A proven track record of successfully managing multi-faceted projects from inception to completion is essential. Responsibilities include:
- Leading the design, planning, and implementation of various civil engineering projects, such as roads, bridges, buildings, and water systems.
- Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
- Coordinating and directing the work of engineering teams, consultants, and contractors.
- Conducting site inspections and feasibility studies to assess project viability and identify potential challenges.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Developing detailed engineering designs, plans, and specifications.
