Our client, a leader in developing advanced automotive electronics and control systems, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Automotive Systems Integration Engineer to join their cutting-edge, fully remote engineering team. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless integration of complex automotive systems, enabling you to contribute to automotive innovation from your home office. While this role is associated with our Malindi, Kilifi, KE operations, the position is 100% remote, requiring exceptional technical acumen and virtual collaboration capabilities.

- Manage system integration activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines and milestones.
- Analyze test data and system performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Contribute to the development of simulation models and virtual validation environments.
- Stay abreast of emerging automotive technologies, standards, and best practices in systems engineering and integration.
- Facilitate virtual design reviews and technical discussions with global teams.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in automotive systems engineering, with a strong focus on integration and validation.
- Proven experience with complex automotive electronic systems and their interactions.
- Proficiency in system integration methodologies and tools (e.g., CANoe, Vector VT System, MATLAB/Simulink).
- Solid understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet).
- Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS) and configuration management systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at collaborating with diverse teams in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with automotive safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262) is a plus.
