Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and test complex mechanical components and systems for vehicles using CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, NX).
  • Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for stress, vibration, thermal, and fatigue analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing specialists.
  • Create and maintain detailed design documentation, including drawings, BOMs, and specifications.
  • Identify and implement design improvements to enhance performance, reduce cost, and improve manufacturability.
  • Support prototype builds and testing, analyzing results and iterating on designs.
  • Ensure designs comply with automotive standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical growth of the team.
  • Stay current with automotive technology trends, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues during development and production phases.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in automotive mechanical design.
