- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and optimize existing ones.
- Monitor key process performance indicators (KPIs) and report on trends and opportunities.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in chemical engineering, process optimization techniques, and relevant software.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on process optimization best practices.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in chemical process engineering, with a strong focus on optimization and troubleshooting.
- Proven expertise in statistical process control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), and data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
- Experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and advanced process control systems.
- Solid understanding of chemical reaction engineering, thermodynamics, and separation processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis is a significant advantage.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver results in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is desirable.
