Our client, a prestigious event management company, is looking for a highly organized and creative Remote Event Planning Coordinator to join their virtual team. This is a fully remote position, enabling you to manage event logistics and client communications from your home office. As an Event Planning Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning, organization, and execution of various events, including corporate functions, conferences, and social gatherings. Your duties will involve coordinating with vendors, managing event budgets, developing event timelines, and communicating effectively with clients and internal stakeholders. You will leverage online tools and platforms to manage event details, track progress, and ensure a seamless experience for all participants. We seek individuals with exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating memorable events. Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management abilities are crucial. The ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, remote environment is essential. A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, along with at least 2 years of experience in event planning or coordination, is required. - Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates.
- Utilize event management software to organize event details and track tasks.
- Create and manage guest lists, invitations, and registration processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any event-related issues promptly.
- Provide on-site support or remote supervision during events as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in event planning, coordination, or management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with event management software and virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Zoom).
