Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of chemical processes from pilot scale to full commercial production.
- Perform detailed process simulations and modeling using industry-standard software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS).
- Analyze process data to identify opportunities for yield improvement, cost reduction, and energy efficiency.
- Develop and implement advanced process control strategies to ensure stable and efficient operations.
- Conduct Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs), HAZOP studies, and risk assessments to ensure safe operations.
- Oversee the scale-up of new chemical processes, troubleshooting issues that arise during transition.
- Develop and implement robust standard operating procedures (SOPs) and batch records.

Qualifications:

- In-depth knowledge of chemical reaction engineering, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and separation processes.
- Proven experience in leading PHAs, HAZOP studies, and implementing safety improvements.
- Strong understanding of process control systems (DCS, PLC) and instrumentation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional teams.
