Our client, a prominent telecommunications provider, is seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to join their growing team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while safeguarding the integrity and availability of their network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of network security principles, protocols, and best practices, with a proven ability to implement and manage robust security solutions. You will be responsible for protecting the company's network from threats, ensuring compliance with security policies, and responding to security incidents.

- Maintain accurate documentation of network security configurations and procedures.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in network security engineering.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and network architectures.
- Hands-on experience with firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto), VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Experience with SIEM tools and security monitoring platforms.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNA Security, CompTIA Security+) are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in a remote setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
