Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Logistics and Fleet Manager to oversee transportation operations based in Mombasa, Mombasa, KE . This critical role is responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost-effective management of our fleet and supply chain logistics. The successful candidate will develop and implement logistics strategies, optimize delivery routes, manage warehouse operations, and maintain the highest standards of fleet maintenance and safety. You will be responsible for coordinating with drivers, dispatchers, and warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate deliveries while minimizing operational costs. Key duties include managing inventory levels, negotiating with transport providers and suppliers, and implementing performance metrics to track efficiency and identify areas for improvement. A deep understanding of supply chain management, customs procedures, and international shipping regulations is essential. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant transportation laws and safety regulations. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record in managing complex logistics operations. The ability to foster a positive team environment and drive continuous improvement in all aspects of logistics and fleet management is vital. We are looking for a results-oriented individual who can adapt to changing market demands and proactively address challenges in the supply chain. The scope of this role involves managing both inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring smooth transit of goods from origin to destination. You will play a key role in maintaining strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders within the logistics ecosystem. Experience with transport management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly preferred. This is an on-site position where your presence is required to effectively manage the day-to-day operations and team.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, and fleet operations.
- Demonstrated experience in managing a diverse fleet of vehicles.
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations, customs procedures, and international shipping.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in logistics and warehouse management software.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
