Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory management, warehousing operations, and transportation logistics.
- Utilize advanced analytics and modeling techniques to forecast demand, manage stock levels, and reduce lead times.
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies within the supply chain and design effective solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, procurement, sales) and external partners (carriers, suppliers) to ensure seamless supply chain execution.
- Implement and manage supply chain technology solutions, including WMS, TMS, and ERP systems.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed supply chain improvements and present findings to senior management.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor supply chain performance against targets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall supply chain resilience and agility.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes impacting supply chains.
- Mentor and guide junior supply chain analysts and specialists.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and logistics providers.
- Lead cross-functional projects aimed at supply chain transformation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and sustainability goals within the supply chain.
- Optimize network design and facility placement for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage risk within the supply chain and develop contingency plans for disruptions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations.
- Proven track record of successfully optimizing complex supply chain operations and achieving significant cost savings.
- Strong expertise in supply chain planning, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
- Proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and simulation tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Excel, Tableau).
- Experience with Supply Chain Management software (ERP, WMS, TMS).
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and lead teams effectively in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of global trade and customs regulations is a plus.
- Adaptability and resilience in navigating dynamic market conditions.
