Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead Structural Civil Engineer to spearhead critical infrastructure projects. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to leverage your expertise from anywhere. You will be responsible for the design, analysis, and oversight of structural components for a variety of civil engineering projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with international standards. - Perform structural integrity assessments and recommend remedial actions for existing infrastructure.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
- Manage project timelines and budgets related to structural engineering tasks.
- Stay abreast of advancements in structural engineering materials, technologies, and design methodologies.
- Contribute to the development of company standards and best practices in structural engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in structural civil engineering design and project management.
- Extensive experience with structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, or similar.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes (e.g., Eurocodes, ASCE) and design standards.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and clients.
- Demonstrated experience in managing the structural aspects of large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Ability to work independently, manage workload effectively, and deliver high-quality results in a remote environment.
