Our client is looking for an experienced Lead Industrial Engineer to drive process optimization and efficiency improvements across their operations. This is a fully remote position, enabling you to contribute to critical projects from anywhere. You will be instrumental in analyzing existing workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and designing and implementing solutions to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality. Your expertise will be vital in leveraging industrial engineering principles to create more streamlined and effective operational systems. Key responsibilities include: conducting detailed analyses of production processes, supply chains, and operational workflows; developing and implementing process improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen; designing optimal layouts for facilities and production lines; performing time and motion studies to enhance efficiency; developing and maintaining operational performance metrics and dashboards; collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement changes and ensure adoption; leading and mentoring junior industrial engineers; staying abreast of new technologies and best practices in industrial engineering.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field is required. A Master's degree is a significant advantage.
