Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cloud Solutions Architect to join their cutting-edge, fully remote IT department. This strategic role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure solutions that align with business objectives. You will lead architectural design sessions, develop strategic cloud roadmaps, and provide technical guidance to development and operations teams. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including their services, networking, security, and cost optimization strategies. Responsibilities include architecting cloud-native applications, developing migration strategies for on-premises workloads, establishing cloud governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with security best practices and industry regulations, and troubleshooting complex cloud-related issues. This is a remote-first position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere and collaborate with a global engineering team. We are looking for a visionary leader with outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, capable of translating complex technical requirements into elegant architectural designs. A proven track record in designing and implementing large-scale enterprise cloud solutions is essential. Professional certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is a plus. You will play a crucial role in shaping the company's cloud strategy and driving digital transformation initiatives. This position is based out of Mombasa, Mombasa, KE , but is a fully remote role.
