- Ensure design compliance with local zoning regulations, building codes, and project objectives.
- Mentor and guide junior design staff, fostering a collaborative and creative team environment.
- Manage design timelines and deliverables, coordinating with project managers and consultants.
- Stay informed about emerging trends in urban design, architecture, and sustainable development practices.
- Present design concepts and proposals to clients, review boards, and the public.
- Contribute to the firm's design standards and architectural philosophy.
- Master's degree in Architecture or Urban Design from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in architectural design, with a strong focus on urban planning, master planning, and large-scale development projects.
- Professional licensure as an Architect in Kenya is required.
- Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Demonstrated experience in creating high-quality urban design concepts and master plans.
- Strong understanding of urban planning principles, zoning regulations, and sustainable design practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design vision effectively.
- Proven ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously and work collaboratively in a remote team setting.
