Job Description
Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Digital Marketing & Communications Specialist to join their fully remote team. This role is responsible for developing and executing integrated digital marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility, drive engagement, and generate leads. You will leverage your expertise in various digital channels, content creation, social media management, and performance analytics to achieve marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Campaign Management : Plan, implement, and manage digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and content marketing.
Content Creation & Curation : Develop engaging and relevant content for digital platforms, including social media posts, blog articles, website copy, and email newsletters. Curate user-generated content where appropriate.
Social Media Strategy & Management : Develop and execute a social media strategy to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and foster community engagement. Manage social media accounts, including content scheduling, posting, and community interaction.
Email Marketing : Design, write, and execute email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional emails, and drip campaigns, to nurture leads and engage customers.
SEO/SEM Implementation : Collaborate with SEO specialists to implement on-page and off-page optimization strategies. Assist with the management of paid search campaigns.
Performance Tracking & Reporting : Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights). Provide data-driven recommendations for optimization.
Website Content Updates : Assist with updating and maintaining website content to ensure it is accurate, up-to-date, and optimized for search engines.
Brand Voice Consistency : Ensure all digital communications maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in digital marketing and communications, with hands-on experience across multiple digital channels.
Proficiency in social media management platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and content creation tools.
Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact).
Strong understanding of SEO/SEM principles and practices.
Familiarity with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and the ability to interpret data.
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment. This role supports our client's presence in and around Machakos, Machakos, KE , but is a fully remote position.
